Thanks for stopping by my page. I'm James Gaddis, the founder and sole owner/operator of Ridgeline Geographic, LLC, a map production startup based in Midtown Tallahassee, Florida.

From May 2022 to August 2024, I produced and printed roughly 150 maps for the Florida Park Service as part of my regular job duties while employed with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. I took pride in spearheading cutting-edge mapping techniques and styles to bring new vibrancy to Florida State Park unit management plans produced by my team.

In October 2024, I fulfilled a lifelong dream and started my own cartography company. The next month, I obtained my own advanced ArcGIS license from ESRI and immediately began to gather publicly available geographic data with a goal in mind of developing the world's most detailed and aesthetically balanced large-scale maps that are dominated by features of the natural world.

With extensive experience in large-format map printing in preparation for public meetings with the Florida Park Service, I set up a small mail-order map print shop at an office in Midtown Tallahassee in March 2026. After settling on printing an shipping methods and logistics, I formally launched my business in April 2026.
